How do you emotionally cheat on someone lol… cheating is having sex with someone else while in a committed relationship with someone else. Seems like they didnt get the hint if anything, it’s a them problem not a you problem. I wouldn’t care too much about it.

But if I can explain: I was in a relationship with someone I didn’t love while being emotionally intimate with someone else, and my boyfriend at the time didn’t know it.
