You really shouldnt tell someone with anxiety stuff like “its fine” or “ its not scary”
Because it may not mean anything to you but for us whatever we’re anxious about is TERRIFYING. And i promise, saying things like that will make things worse… Try things like “ i know its scary but we can get through it” “ you got this, youre way stronger than your fear” remember your breathing" try to acknowledge the fact that what’s harmless to you may be overwhelming to us and remind us you still love us even when we seem irrational
