The thing is, until people see that you’re on TV, you don’t want to say that you’re an actress. So i would sometimes study my lines in English class and pretend I was reading a book, and then i’d go after school and audition. It was about a year later when the show started airing, that everybody was like “Oh my god, you’re on that TV show Degrassi”, and it was cool.
