During the day when you’re with people, laughing, smiling, having all these distractions. You kind of force your mind to attempt to shut off those thoughts, and maybe for a brief time its a nice numb feeling away from the pain. Sure you can be happy, but that doesn’t mean you -are- happy.

Then when you go home, lay in your bed, there’s no distractions and the thoughts just flood in. Then it happens all over again.
